Breaking News: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Yachet Raided
CRISTIANO Ronaldo’s luxury boat has reportedly been searched by customs agents while he is holidaying on the Spanish island of Formentera, according to reports.
Ronaldo was at a restaurant with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez while the rented yacht was searched, says Hola.com.
Officials reportedly demanded to see documentation from those on board.
The Real Madrid star is said to have looked calm as he returned from the restaurant with Miss Rodriguez.
His mother, children and friends were holidaying with the player in the Balearic Islands (see photo above) when the agents went on board the vessel.
The agents spent an hour-and-a-half on the yacht before finishing their inspection and leaving amicably. Ronaldo later returned to the yacht, but did not have any contact with the agents.
Sources in Spain dismissed speculation that the raid was connected to the tax evasion probe launched into the star’s finances.
The inspection is believed to have been a routine check performed on vessels in the area, related to the paperwork on board to make sure companies hiring yachts have paid the correct taxes.
Everything on board Cristiano’s yacht was said to be in order.
